AGB stands for Algemeen Gegevensbeheer Zorgverleners

Basically it is a database of people and organisations that provide care in the netherlands. I believe the goal is to provide a consistent and up to date view of the current situation. In the Netherlands every GeneralPractitioner? has a AGB code and the Vecozo Insurance Check (Controle op Verzekeringsrecht) application returns that code.

At this moment we are looking for a way to map the AGB code to the name and address details of the General Practitioner.

For non-dutch users of the platform, this functionality is provided by plugins and is not part of the core of the system. (but available in svn of course)
