JoiningTracks HealthCore

HealthCore is a web based system that helps clinics to execute a clinical pathway for each and every patient. This approach ensures the focus on the patient and the primary process as agreed upon as done in a clinical pathway.

HealthCore as found on the JoiningTracks site is the starting point for the deployment and execution of these pathways. The core of the system provides the services to build and deploy highly customizable processes to be run on a per patient basis.

What is HealthCore

HealthCore is a java based web application that is able to register and track patients and parties involved in the care of these patients like the insurance companies, general practitioners, medical specialists and other. Based on this system, clinics may deploy their own JPDL based processes, to be run at a patient level. Currently it is possible to:

  • Entry of patient information
  • Planning (creating appointments, registering presence)
  • Pathways (deploy specific clinical pathways)
  • Forms and Questionnaires (have the medical team or patients add information to the healthrecord)
  • Billing (including a way to express contract information)
  • Display information on the outstanding work (workflow task oriented)

The system as a whole is language and country independent as well as extendible in many aspects of the system.

Development

Process

Initial stages of the project are built using the Scrum Methodology. We use Maven for project and dependency management. Via Sonatype Nexus all dependencies are available.
Teamcity is used as continuous integration server. Other tools we use.
